PARADIGM SHIFT

Vision is such a limited thing. We can only see what is surrounding us at any given moment, yet there is so much more. There is even more to see that is right in front of us than we probably ever notice. Our perspective can be just as limited as our sight. Experience, attitude, physical circumstances and emotion make up our individual perspectives. In order to see life in a different way we must be willing to open ourselves to think and feel differently, while abandoning our preconceived notions. We also have to be willing to admit that what we think we know about our situation may be wrong.
A paradigm shift occurs in the same way that a single turn of a kaleidoscope changes the image that the viewer is seeing, while the components remain the same.
“Life” can bring cataclysmic events to “turn our kaleidoscopes.” The challenge is to be able to shift our way of looking at circumstances, people, and life without having a catalyst shake things up. How can you do this? By listening to that still, small voice that is more than your intuition, that comes from somewhere outside of yourself, and allowing your perspective to change. If you don’t hear it at first, slow down, find a place of solace and keep listening.
My hope for you is that you will allow that voice of truth and wisdom to help you see things differently. There is so much more to life, when we look deeper, and outside ourselves.
